The Mason County Animal Shelter is a county shelter in the west of West Virginia. Although we have a limited budget, the staff love and care for all animal residents and are willing to do what it takes to save all of them. Fosters, adoptions and rescues are welcome.

• Canned dog and cat food


• Dry dog and cat food

• Formula for young Kittens (KMR) and Puppies


• Cat Dewormer


• Cat Flea & Tick remover


• Immune & Respiratory Support Products


• Towels, blankets (washable) and soft mats


• Newspaper (Bundled)


• Dog and Cat Toys (Durable and washable)


• New or used collars and leashes


• Grooming brushes and shampoo


• Large Wire Animal Cages


• New and used carrying crates and kennels

No Squeeky Toys Please
Toys that make a noise when you squeeze them can encourage some dogs to be aggressive towards young children because they squeek too. The device that makes the noise is usually small and can be harmful if swallowed. Some toys of this type contain a small battery which is poisonous if the dog eats it. The best toys are tuggers, tennis balls and hard chew toys that cannot be ripped apart.
